TALK TO ME, I'M LISTENING

I am in the process of meeting every neighbor I possibly can--to listen to your concerns about life in the South End today, and your ideas to make it better in the future.  Please take my survey, either by sending back the survey card, by going to my website, or by calling me to share your thoughts.  The survey results will be my "marching orders" for the next four years, as I work to the very best of my ability to be your voice on the City Council.

What I've heard so far (most frequent concerns):  Our streets are in need of repair. There's too much nuisance crime: vandalism, graffiti, and theft.  We need more good jobs close to home.  Prostitution, gangs and drugs have got to go.  Slow down speeders.  Get rid of abandoned cars and piles of junk.  Help our neighbors get through the recession.  Find a way to replace our grocery store and allow us to shop near home.  No more tax increases.  I believe most of this list can be accomplished - don't you?

Thank you for taking time to talk to me, I'm listening!  I ask you to also vote for me.  As your Council Member, I promise to keep listening and to provide the leadership that will change our Fifth District for the better!
